The rescheduled 10th Annual Bruce May Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Austin Bayou Golf Cours in Danbury, Texas on February 18, 2023 with a scramble start at 9:00am.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Bruce, you undoubtedly remember him as an outstanding individual that would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was a gentle giant with a smile that could light up any room. But on August 26, 2007 his life was cut short when he had a heart attack while playing golf at Austin Bayou. We invite you to honor and remember him for all of the things for which he stood. Which is why, in an effort to keep his memory alive, we hope to continue this tournament for many years to come with all net proceeds benefiting the charity of Bruce’s family’s choice. Once again, the family has chosen the PTSD Foundation of America/Camp Hope. Camp Hope is located in Houston and provides interim housing for our Wounded Warriors, veterans and their families suffering from combat related PTSD in a caring and positive environment. Our men and woman who have put their lives on the line so that we can be free now have a place in our area where they can receive help if they struggle with PTSD.

In the past seven years, since choosing Camp Hope and The PTSD Foundation of America, we have been able to donate over $110,000 to this very worthy cause. This is thanks to the amazing support of our friends, family, golfers and sponsors. We hope to have the best year yet. We are excited about 2021 and the many Veterans we can help! Please help us and support this worthy cause. We will help our Veterans and remember an incredible man with a heart of gold. He would be so proud!
